Can't get it to show properly 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hi guys! If I can get this to work, it will be a fantastic plugin, but at the moment, I seem to be having issues.

I'm using Joomla! 1.5.15 and the free version of CB Personalizer. I have legacy enabled and have enabled the plugin.

However, I just get the usual code printed to the screen, rather than the data. I've tried every possible variation I can think of and currently have an article with this in:

{ cbp email }{ cbp Email }{ cbp _UE_EMAIL }{ cbp cb_email }{ cbp cb_Email }{ cbp cb_UE_EMAIL } (I've added the spaces)

Not one of these actually shows me the email address. They all appear exactly as written.

I'm actually trying to use it for a custom field called male1, but thought I'd try it on the email as it's a standard CB field.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance!

John.

This was taken directly from the demo site:

Email [{ cbp cb_email }]

Note: the cb_email was created as a custom field not the Joomla field.

You must use the exact formatting of the field you created.

Take a look at the partial screen shot from the demo site.

Hope this helps.

Hi! Thanks for the quick response. Still no joy I'm afraid.

I thought I'd take some screen shots and hope that you can direct me from there!

Fig 1 is the field manager in CB

Fig 2 is what I've put in the editor in the back-end

Fig 3 is the result in the front end.

Thank you!!!

Hello again,

Just in case it is important, I have also received this message on the site, repeated countless times:

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/garfpwxb/public_html/stories/plugins/content/cbp.php on line 51

Followed by a few instance of:

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/garfpwxb/public_html/stories/plugins/content/cbp.php on line 54

Does that help?

JB

JB,

Be sure you don't have any html formatting within the curly braces...

Also, check your email for a possible newer version.

I have just downloaded the free version, and like the rest of this thread, have enabled legacy support, the plugin and put {cbp cb_schoolname} into a page. I have checked for rogue html.

I get the same error message and no schoolname in my article.

What is the solution?
